I don`t know what it is about you but it seems that whenever you come out with a new blog post, it`s as if you have the “midas touch“ because everything you talk about just turns into pure gold.

Hi Tracey,
Great having babies and puppies in your video. Having light behind you isn’t a good idea because the light should be coming from behind the camera shining on your face.
Light behind tends to darken the camera lens and also creates a semi blinding effect on the viewer.
You want to be well lit. =o)

How to record a good volume like in your videos by using the Flip? My video volume is very low even I put the Flip very close to me. Did you use an external microphone?

Great video and great tips Katie! There is only one thing I don’t agree with, be yourself. I have seen alot of videos where people either bore me, or scare me away! If they had the energy and personality that you have they would be fine, but most people are lacking there! My biggest problem is freezing up, stumbling for words, or trying to get it “Perfect” I can have it all planned out in my head and then when the camera goes on I feel pressured, more practice I guess! Love your videos and your personality, thanks for all the valuable tips!
