Do You Want To Take The Red Pill Or The Blue Pill? (Down The Rabbit Hole, Part 1)

This is one of the most significant questions we can truly ask ourselves in life.  In this post today, I am presenting you with a choice… And your answer to this question has the very real potential to change your life in more ways than you can ever possibly imagine…

This famous line came from one of the most well-known and popular science fiction movies of all time, the Matrix.  Although the movie is fiction, it has very symbolic and philosophical undertones that represent the nature of reality and our human desire to learn more about the truth of our existence.  When Neo is asked whether he wants the red pill or the blue pill, he is being forced to choose between discovering the TRUTH of reality or continuing to live in comfortable ignorance… And of course, he takes the red pill and is immediately ‘awakened’ from the world of illusion he was once living in, the Matrix.

In our society today, most people are all too willing to just accept things as they appear… They don’t question the beliefs they have about the world or who they really are.  And often times, our constructed belief systems become the ‘lenses’ through which we interpret reality.  So what happens if (or I guess I should say, ‘when’) our beliefs and world-views are found to be wrong?  Well, when we have the courage to lift up the ‘veil of illusion’ that we’ve been conditioned to believe (or in Neo’s case, wake up from the Matrix), we come to find that reality is not really what we think it is!

So when I ask you if you want the red pill or the blue pill, I’m asking you if you’re willing and open to question your true nature…  Do you want to know the truth or do you want to stay in the Matrix?  How willing are you to let go of old beliefs and ideas that you might find to no longer be true?

Well, for me, I definitely decided to take the red pill a long time ago.  It happened a few years ago when I finally started questioning everything that I’ve been told and taken for granted as truth.  I started questioning society and it’s standards and norms… I started questioning what I had been taught about ‘God’… And most importantly, I started questioning the nature of who I really was.

And I’ve been on this journey of self-discovery ever since.  But just in the last few months, I’ve become more and more fascinated with the study of quantum physics.  Quantum physics is literally the science of self-discovery… The study of our Source, this infinite intelligence that directs, governs, and expresses Itself through all of life.  It’s essentially the science of the ‘Unseen’… how it works and operates under the veil of the ‘material world’.

So although there are many different ways and paths to discovering the Truth of who we are, I feel as though quantum physics is going to play an integral role in helping more and more people ‘wake up’ to their true nature.  This is not about esoteric philosophy… This is a science that is pretty hard to deny!

So as I grow and learn more and more about quantum physics, I’d like to blog about it and share it here with YOU!  I’m so excited to share this information because the more you learn about your own self at deeper and deeper levels, the more you’ll be able to literally ‘master’ this thing called life.  You will become a true conscious creator of your own reality and realize more and more just how darn powerful YOU really are…

Imagine your life as this enormously powerful wave and you’re being asked to ride it.  If you fight and resist the wave, it’ll be a lifelong struggle.  If you just ‘fall victim’ to the wave, you’ll get wiped out.  But if you learn to skillfully ride the wave, you’ll fall into alignment with life and experience the thrill, beauty, and majesty of our own existence.  You’ll ‘get it’… Or what some say, you’ll be ‘self-realized’ or ‘enlightened’.

This just means that you know who you are.  You’ve let go of that old lens you were looking through with all of those self-limiting beliefs and concepts that caused you to suffer and kept you from your highest potential… You start to perceive a deeper Truth about yourself and everyone and everything else.

I do have to warn you though… Quantum physics is a little nutty!  As you travel farther and farther down the ‘rabbit hole’ you’ll discover a world that defies the laws of classical physics (the physics of the material world), that makes no sense to the logical mind, and is so baffling, you’ll probably never see the world the same again!

But that’s the best part!  :)  Because on the other side is where freedom lies…

So let’s take this journey together one step at a time.  And today, we’ll just start with the ‘Quantum Field Theory’…

The Quantum Field Theory says that everything in the universe is made up of fluctuations of energy and information.  So, essentially, this material world that we take to be so ‘solid’ is really, at it’s most elemental state, ‘non-physical’.  The atom is not really solid at all, it is made up of a hierarchy of states of information and energy and can be broken down into protons, electrons, quarks, bozons, and then just impulses of energy and information.

So, let’s ponder this for a moment…

Even though the world feels and looks pretty darn solid and dense, it’s not.  Everything is made up of waves of energy, but even more specifically, waves of potential energy.  These ‘quantum wave functions’ actually contain within them the potential for anything physical to appear!

They are essentially waves of possibilities.  And the energy and information that make-up these waves are the same ‘stuff’ that make-up our thoughts.  (I’ll get into this in more detail in later posts.)

So as simply put as possible, we literally live in a ‘thought’ universe.  And quantum physicists are now saying that it’s actually ‘thought’ that creates the physical world!

So who (or what) is actually ‘thinking’ these thoughts that birthed us all into existence??

Hehehe… Now I’ll ask you again, do you want to take the red pill or the blue pill?

(To Be Continued…)

I will pick definitely the red pill even if it’s a mistery where I will land. I want the reality even if it’s hard to swollow sometime. At the end you end up where you really need to be and where you can really make a difference in your live. I could not live a life of lies cause living a lie is not living at all. I definitly want the real live, the reality world no mater what will appens. My positive thoughts will bring be to the right way to find the best reality world for me and my entourage. Red it is for me!

p.s. Can’t wait to read the part 2 :)
Smile and have fun- Janie

I think I took the red pill well before I ever knew what it was. :) Since my late-teens, I have always questioned the basis for just about everything–religion, politics, human condition, etc. My constant need for learning and growing has been challenging, and yet enlightening and amazing as well…especially during the last year-and-a-half.

Thank you for sharing this. Looking forward to reading more.

Namaste,

What you believe creates your reality. We live in a world of duality, but true reality includes both sides of duality, even though they contradict each other (wish this had a spell ck) This is why quantum physicists boggles the mind.
Thoughts are real, they create your reality as you think so you are. God is energy, and we are all view points of God.
Therefore control your thoughts and direct you energy and you create what ever you want.

Nice One Katie -

The brightest and best brains in the field of General Relativity with Quantum Theory, including Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton and Stephen Hawking have all got lost on this one… They say that we know 99% of everything but a Grand Unified Theory always evades us. It is almost like ” We Humans Are Not Destined To Find Out” and maybe it is not good to ask these questions?

One thing is for sure here: There is no proof that God does or does not exist. And after being brought up a Catholic, lapsed, studied and practised Buddhism, Judaism and Khabbala, I find that being a simple beliver in Christianity works best for me. (I have tried taking the Red pill and found it wanting). This does not mean that I agree with everything the Church teaches but I can also see that Man debases the Church. Churches, Synagogues and Temples are pure until Man enters and starts to speak.

I will genuinely try to contibute honestly and be open minded to the best of my ability, knowledge and experience allows.

This post is truly facinating and I look forward to Part 2.

Thank You Katie! Once again you delivered this message with so much truth, wisdom and enlightenment. Sounds like you have been in such journey. I have taken the red pill a loonngg time ago. I found that it is easier to feel and feel within–where our true nature lies. Thanks thus far for all the inspiration.. Keep on learning sharing the truth…And a quote from Osho–Thanks darling
“Enlightenment is a simple realization that everything is as it should be. This is what enlightenment is. It is the understanding that all is good, that all is beautiful ? and it is beautiful as it is. Everything is in tremendous harmony, in accord.”

Thank you,Katie.
You really know how to put the information so it will bring so much new energy to my thoughts. As J A Ray said”Energy flows, where the attention goes”Sometimes is a bit challenging to believe that you create your reality.I used to find a lot of excuses in the past and I used to blame other people or the situations that I was for my life.I am so happy I am not that person any more. But the only thing is that some of my friends think that I am taking some sort of drugs to be able to live the way I do.
I choose the red pill.
Also the Idea, that life is a wave was a great expression.I am looking forward to the next part.

Ahh. The Quantum Mechanics analogy. Beware! Quantum Mechanics, and it’s step child Quantum String Theory, are hypothesis at best, based on quirky mathematics that can disappear this century as quickly as it manifested last century. So be careful how much of your spirituality is based on faith in the Quantum illusion. Reality will remain a mystery, and that is part of the fun. :)

Don’t confuse reality with solidity either. Harry Potter and Superman are just as ‘real’, in the dimension domain of mind, as we are in this dimensional domain that we call ‘physical’.

Just when you think you have a handle on the rabbit hole, you suddenly discover that you have a firm grasp on a handful of smoke. :)

Enjoy the experience of life, even if you cannot ever understand its foundations. We are here to experience it, not figure it all out. :)

Nice that was cut at the end, the “Hehehe… Now I’ll ask you again, do you want to take the red pill or the blue pill?”

Hell motherfucking yes we want to take the red pill!

Looking forward to learning more about quantum physics with you, when we feel the vibrations of quantum physics, it speaks the same language of the heart. Or I should say it’s like the heart speaking its own truth.

The heart is the forth chakra level of conciseness, when most of the world today is playing the game of life only in the first 3 levels of conciseness. This will be a tool to raise our awareness into the 4th level of heart conciseness of unconditional love.

Thanks for sharing,

Hi Katie, great synchronicity again! This issue seems to be around many people at the moment… Just some days ago after watching a video from Greg Braden my awareness sunk deeper into the understanding of usage of energy. To convey it in simple words, it felt for me that THE energy is waiting to be moved trough my authentic power. That was a great experience and made my focus more clear! And i´m sure you know how it feels, when some Energy Mover go together and start to create! Stay present and have fun! Much Love, Esther

Hello Katie,

Yes Quantum Physics can get weird. I’ve been immersed in it for years. The question that QP often proposes is how far down the rabbit hole to you really want to go?

All of reality is nothing but an illusion but the illusion must exist for us to function in this three dimensional world we live in.

I have some great resources that I can share with you and I’d be interested to know want books you’re reading regarding this subject.

Each of us are just at different paths along the way but the QP road is one we all must eventually take, i.e. wake up from the dream.

I appreciate your sharing and your willing and courage to bring this forward.

Hi Gary, I agree with you that spirituality should not be placed solely in the hands of quantum physics theory… It is something that must be owned and discovered by each and every person within themselves. Self discovery is a an experiential process, not a theoretical one. However, becoming aware of quantum physics and it’s discoveries, even though all are essentially only hypotheses, can still play a crucial role in awakening and empowering many people. This knowledge is meant to expand and open the mind and help you realize that reality is indeed NOT what we take it to be. Enjoy the mystery my friend :)

Great post! I have been taking the red pill for a long time now and will continue to do so. To take the blue pill is not helping my soul to evolve to reach my fullest potential.

I look forward to part 2. Enjoy and have fun :)

This post friggin ROCKS.

I actually walked out of what the bleep do we know riding on one of those waves of possibility. It was pretty friggin trippy. That was a few years back, and the trip just keeps going!! :)

Katie, You’re awesome.

Thank you for sharing this information with all of us, it’s AMAZING knowledge. That opens you up to a beautiful amazing world silently operating all of life, that we’re most often completely un aware of.

I appreciate you for that tons, and look forward to more of this AWESOME information.

Love ya,
Jonathan

I saw the Matrix a few years ago and it made me ponder about how our reality is shaped by our life experiences as well as outside influences such as the media etc. Advertisers figured this out years ago and have profiled those of us that have allowed them to shape our reality. Reality is simply what you accept it to be. It starts with thought. As the saying goes…choose your words carefully; so should you choose your influences. QP is a facinating subject and for some may be a hard pill to swallow. Perhaps a spoon full of sugar to help the red pill go down.

Katie,
I was first introduced to Quantum Physics by John Assaraf and what I have learned since has absolutely blown my mind and really has caused me to change my beliefs on what in fact is “reality”.

I look forward to your coming insights into this discussion.

To Success,

John

WOW..! How about our mind ? It is to be the most amazing of all creations, isn’t it ? Memory..? how about if we live without mind or memory? Has the Universe its own mind or memory ? How about if i say the mind or the memory of the universe does not EXIST ?
If IT is EXIT, what should i call IT? Should i say IT or HIM or HER? is IT singular or plural? How about if i have the POWER to delete all the memory and the mind of human being ? And then filled out with memory and mind as I WANT THEY TO BE? dO you THINK I FAIR ENOUGH ? THE MATRIX!! You’ve got the answer Kathie !

Katie, Just wanted to say that info on quantum physics you published is way ahead of your years…so to speak. I was fortunate enough to find a book in my early 20′s called “In Search of Shrodinger’s Cat” and it was one of the most infulential books on my life. I have read hundreds of books on many topics but when you grasp the unrestricted potential of what quantum physics is, then you really do have one of the greatest secrets of the universe. Great work on your blog. Keep rockin the super content. Jeff

Great post and video Katie! I too have always been fascinated by quantum physics, but choose the art path over the mathematical one. I believe we can understand things far greater in symbols than words and yes even the symbols that transcend logical mathematical symbols!

That being said it is a h*ll of a challenge creating artwork that dives into the essence of existence! Brancussi was the closest but perhaps some day I will one up him.

Anyhow I will definately be tuning in on your discussions on the topic and sharing when I can. The unknown is after all the most exciting topic one can possibly discuss. For the discussion it self is endless!

You Rock!

Awesome post katie, I took the red pill around the time that the I watched “The Secret” for the first time and went on to read the “Answer” by John Assaraf, which also uses Quantum Physics as it’s base. I have now read the book 4 times.

I am looking forward to your further insights.

Hi Katie,

Brave of you to go the road of Quantum physics.
I’ve read a few books years ago that combine quantum theory with for instance health. Depak Chaopra wrote an interesting book called: Quantum healing.
Another book of which I can’t remember the title, was written by Richard Bach.

Personally I’ve never known there was a blue pill, eventhough I’m colour blind, so who knows :-).

Keep comming with the good news.

Masterful job of explaining/teaching Quantum Physics to the lay person. I especially like your emphasis on Waves of Potential Energy. When we get that, I mean, really “get it”, we become masterful, deliberate manifestors. And as you so brilliantly state, we are able to use those waves of potential energy to allow anything that we desire to appear. On the other hand, if we are not deliberate, we also create by default so if we want a reality check on how we’re manifesting, just look at the “what is” in our present reality. Not always the popular thing to do…and, a grat starting point.

Dear Katie,
Questioning life has brought me to such a space of awe and bewilderment. I love what you posted here in the beginning about taking the risk to question why we think certain things and about the world around us. I resonate with understanding ourselves at a deeper level so that we come to that place of deep appreciation for who we are. I love that “nutty” side of quantum physics! Sometimes I can’t always wrap my mind around it, BUT it makes me accept it at the core…This is very cool Katie! Where is your video for this post?
btw, I love how you come across in your videos! Your energy is radiant and vibrant, enthusiastic yet a very calm subtle energy…it’s wonderful!

Make it a great day!
