Transparency: NAKED To The Core…

 Transparency: NAKED To The Core...

Are you the same person on the outside as you are on the inside? Do you live with congruency or do you hide behind self constructed images and ideas? Transparency essentially means that you are not pretending to be something you’re not… You’re just yourself. This is the most open and honest way of communicating with the world and those around you. Without transparency, there can’t be true authenticity.

And we can even go deeper than that… In order to really just be yourself, you’ve got to know who you REALLY are. And sometimes in order to do that, it’s helpful to realize what we are NOT first…

If we want to become truly Empowered, Authentic, Expressive, and Loving human beings, we really have to let go of the imaginary walls that keep us divided. All of our ideas, beliefs, and concepts that we’ve accumulated about ourselves and the world around us are like layers of dirt on a window. If we want to see clearly, we have to wipe it clean.

And essentially, it is who we are at our CORE that unifies and connects us all. It is the majestic, amazingly beautiful light that shines forth from each one of us. And when we can let this light be the source of our power and the source of our interaction with the world, we will be truly authentic.

And this authenticity is what is most attractive… In business and in life.

So on this blog right here, I am committed to being completely authentic, transparent, open with you. I want to document my own journey of personal growth and share it here with the community… And hopefully it will serve as a source of inspiration and support for you along your own journey of self discovery.

I’d love to hear from you, so leave a comment down below with your thoughts! icon smile Transparency: NAKED To The Core...

Smile from the Heart :) Chi Kung is an Internal Art of Self Discovery and Healing. Very similar to Yoga. If you are smiling on the inside it shows on the outside. Also, when you Smile from the Heart (don’t worry about how, just do it) every single cell in your body recives a message saying every thing is happy and good. Conversely, if you are sad and worried, the same will be sent to your inner self and will make you sad and worried on the outside.

BE HAPPY IN YOUR NAKEDNESS :)

Hi Katie,

You hit the nail on the head. It all comes down to being yourself and being authentic so that other like minded people will be attracted to you and connect with you.

When you can truely be authentic there really is no competition and growing your business becomes almost effortless. There are people that will connect with you and ONLY want to work with you simply because of your genuine and honest nature.

There are people that connect better with you than they would with Jonathan Budd. There are people that will connect better with Jonathan Budd than they would with Mike Dillard. There are people that will connect better with me more than they would with any other mareketer out there and this is a unique and powerful ability that ANYBODY can tap into.

It just comes down to being authentic and as transparent as possible.

You could’nt be any more on target with this lesson. There is a targeted market of people for EVERYONE that ONLY want to connect with the type of person that THEY truely are and the only way to do that is to be completely transparent. I hope that made sense to you.

I love the value Katie. Great post and keep up the great leadership.

To your success and nothing less,

Seth

Hi Katie,

Authenticity comes when you are not afraid anymore of criticism. Fear of Criticism is the main fear that keeps us from being who we are in the inside. We hide behind a fake image of ourselves that fits better (that’s what we think) what others expect from us. We think we are giving them what they want.

Fear of criticism and so, lack of authenticity will keep you from achieving what you really want in life. You will have a lack of ambition and a lack of self-confidence and yet, to undertake a change in your life, whether it’s becoming a successful entrepreneur or starting a loving relationship with a new partner, you need self-confidence. That’s the only way you will ACT in the right direction to get what you wish.

So be authentic as much as you can. Your neighbor might not like you but you need to learn to stand by your beliefs. Take your responsabilities as a leader. Show the world who you are. With the Internet, it’s become much easier to gather with people with similar beliefs.

To Your Success in all areas of your life… from what I know you’re on the right track ;-)

Hi Katie,

What I’m seeing in you and hearing from you in this video clip and other of your video clips I’ve recently come across, has been my personal growth focus over the past 18 years of my life. These concepts have been the foundation from which I treat my clients personal and spiritual growth issues.

During that time I have developed an emotional release technique / method “E.A.S.E.”, the “Epression of Associative Stress Energies”. I have a lot that you might be interested in but will not attempt to put it down here in this venue.

I hope that you will contact me so I can share what I have found and developed. I will be happy to mail you literature that is the basis that I use for treating / coaching clients in my practice.

To Totaly Abundance For All,

Tom

This message about authenticity is about “freedom”, and it is a journey. I think one of the things that challenges transparency is the false idea, “I am not enough”.

Another great post Katie!

hye Katie, I am surprised, mostly by your knowledge and your insights, it must be a gift, your not that young I guess, so that’s why I think there is an old spirit inside a young body. I hope I don’t offend you by this. I take this very personal, which means I understand what your talking about, because I am middle in this process of getting ride of all the old limited beliefs and conditions thats being put into my head. it was a girl I met in the year 2005 who awoke me. And she unconsciously opened my eyes and mirrored me. it created heavy conflicts deep insight of me. I was a churchgoer, in search for my truth I guess. didn’t have a stable fundament where I put my both foot on. I thought the outside world that came across my path knew better than meself what my own truth must be, I experienced my vulnerability and as a man you keep hiding that for your friends because they expect you to be tough. but because of the way my life progressed in the past, my female side has been more developed which mean I am more sensitive. so I can pick up the signs, I see much more than a average man can. this is what I could not come in terms with. there was not balance between the yin and yan. no harmony only the inner struggle. and maybe I am still in the middle of it but there is more harmony now. so the nakedness I kept runnig from away. and jhide myself to in the extreme, which had consequences ofcourse for my career which I don’t have. I am a selfmade man who learned himself the things he thought were necessary, for his personal development. I had to fight for the freedom and time which you need for it. that means I depended on social welfare and still are! I had to fight for what was worth fighting for! I stood alone most of my time! It took a lot of courage to choose this path, because I lost almost everything. It is because of the fact my both parents were alive that I had a roof above my head and still have! but this all got its meaning. I prepared my self for a turn around which will one day arrive and my gut feeling is saying that it will not last for long!! LIKE MARTHER LUTHER KING, OBAMA AND MANY FAMOUS AND UNKNOWN HEROES USED AS THERE CREDO, I HAVE A DREAM!!!

Yes, because we are part of the universe, part of the people, part of right and wrong, best of all we are a unique person with all the plus and negative characteristics. Be ourselves is a matter of trying to accomplish our inner peace……..Sometime we are right, sometime could be wrong…We are just human…not angel…but could be better than angel, could be worse than animal……overall we are improved… to be better and better and better and better………

Hi there,

There is something I really don’t get.
I always try to develop myself and try to adopt powerful things (like really good bodylanguage, facial expressions, how to make a good conversation) from others if I see them.

And so you can get very good with your social skills.
But as far as I have seen in your vid, I wouldnt be authentic if I try to do so.
So does that mean if you try to develop yourself (and you only can develop yourself if you: see something – deiced if that’s something you want to have in your experience – and then adopt it)
you cannot be authentic?

to be authentic development?

Thanks,
Michael

P.S. Sorry for that confusing English ^^

Hi Katie:
You are right and transparency goes hand on hand with authenticity. But I will add that sometimes we need to explode our true potential in order to be authentic. Do you know someone that has been afraid of being what he or she wants to be? I bet we all do. So lets work on it and do whatever is needed to be authentic.
And thank YOU Katie….. for being authentic.

Katie,

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us, I wholeheartedly agree with your message. We spend so much of our lives trying to learn who it is we are, but in reality, we are constructing identities that aren’t actually true– “I’m the kind of person who…”– I find that it’s most difficult for people to recognize when they’ve bought into believing a concept about themselves is who they actually are. And once that recognition takes place, people can begin the second phase of the journey… learning how to be who it is they are, or as you’ve said, to be completely transparent. Ultimately, it’s not a matter of self gain, it’s a matter of personal freedom. Thanks again,

Sincerely,
Michael Kavanagh

Hi Katie.

Ever since day 1 on the Internet, I have held the belief that being open and honest was going to lead me down the path to success. So I put this idea into practice and it was met with scepticism and disbelief, mainly because that’s NOT how the multi-millionaire dollar earning gurus do it. Another ‘problem’ I faced, was that I was an Australian and people thought I was trying to ‘con’ them. Why? I have NO idea.

I was shocked, to say it politely, that Internet people could not cope with the fact that someone wanted to help them without all the rah, rah, rah that they were used to hearing. They thought there must be a ‘catch’ somewhere and weren’t prepared to be as open and accepting as I was being with them.

Well, here I am 10 years later, still trying to do what I started out to do and it is in complete unison with your post on being ‘transparent.’ Yes, it is easier to gain acceptance on the Internet these days, firstly due to enlightening blogs like yours, and secondly because the ‘gurus’ have sucked so many dollars from the uninitiated and killed a lot of people’s dreams, there is starting to be a trend to seek alternatives to what was the ‘norm.’

The ‘norm’ was: Follow the guru and be assured of success!

Well, we all know that DOESN’T happen, and the sooner it’s realized, the greater the chances for people to actually progress, both in their Internet journey and also their own personal lives.

I was going to ask, “where were you 10 years ago when I needed you?” but the answer to that is obvious – you were growing up and developing into the person that you are today – switched on and ready to lend a hand AND change the negative ‘trend’that has been part and parcel of the Internet since its inception.

Congratulations on your vision Katie and also on your helpful nature. I am so glad I found you on twitter and took the time to visit your blog. Those who just add you as a follower and then blast away with their ads for opportunities, (usually not theirs), have no idea on what they are missing out on.

YOU are a GEM – a shining example of what Internet ‘people’ should be like, and you are to be congratulated for everything you have achieved and are yet to still achieve. Thank you also for letting me tag along for the ride. I am going to thoroughly enjoy it!

Wow, wonderful insight Katie. It has been my experience that people online especially in business put up a front/mask about themselves. I think your right on the spot about being genuine.

Thank you for the wonderful content!

Thanks for sharing your empowering insights Katie.

I think what’s holding back people to become fully transparent is the expectation of weather other individuals will accept you as who you are really or not. Basically, no one wants to experience rejection. However, gaining the respect of other people together with your genuine self will be worth a wait and effort. From my own view, once a person overcomes his/her insecurities, fears and other limits, eventually the aura of transparency will shine.ss

This video reminds me of Avril Lavigne’s song Complicated. Shakespeare said “This above all else, to thine own self be true.” Also Socrates said “Know thyself.” Great post about being yourself.
