The internet is an amazing resource that would be so much better if more people came from a place of connection and offering value. It has actually NEVER been as easy to connect with others and offer more value to more people than it is right now. Just the fact that someone can post on a blog or video information that could really help people and it be out there to be found and benefiting others without the person who created it to do anything to maintain it.

Hi great post! everything you said are ture. I just started my online business 6 months ago, but it grew fast beyond what i expect. It was just a trial and i dont know about business but i love what i am doing. To my surprise it works very well! To be honest i dont know any techniques on how to run a business, but building a good relationship and strong trust to many are the keys to success. And once that relationship is there, your customers will market your own products to their friends, and that is how my business grow. One thing i love in online business is you meet a lot of people and you make friends with them even if you hwvent seen them or been together. and also you dont have to be with someone else, just being you is enough!

Now i know im on the right track for my business.. Thanks for sharing..-)

I agree that authenticity is key. People can always tell by your body language if you’re trying to be someone you’re not. It’s painfully apparent…97% of communication is non-verbal (it comes from your tone of voice, posture, movement, expression, etc). It’s pretty impossible – barring some kind of federal spy training – to be someone you’re not if you consider that every tiny neurological impulse is sending a message out into the world, whether you’re consciously aware of it or not.

Thank you for that great post! Once you get away from the “old” marketing techniques and learn about “attraction marketing” it just makes sense. I know I used to use the old techniques because that is what I was taught, I was one of those people that was more interested in the sale, but I’m happy to say that in the last 6 weeks I have learned so much and its true, I am thirsty for knowledge, I do want more! When you start working every day, just remember, “what can I do today to improve the life of someone else”. It truly is about building relationships. I have an auto mechanic that I go to because of their outstanding customer service. If I have questions, they will take the time to explain something to me, they treat me as a “person” and I go back because of it, they have earned my trust.

Thanks again for everything that you and Katie do – you have truly have brought “value” to my life.

What you are talking about here is something that is the total truth. Building relationships where people trust eachother is major. If there is no trust then there can be no connectiona dn if there is no connection, nothing happens.
