welcome home katie, maui is the best! we've all heard of "let go and let God" and I appreciate your business spin on the saying. I believe powerful insights and ideas are infused by God/source/AllThatIs, and if we take care of imagining, creating the vision, and being open to receiving, then the "heavy lifting" often takes care of itself. you are so beautiful, and thanks always for suthentically sharing your journeys with us.

Well said Katie( and Melissa- Maui no ka oi). From experience I know it is easier to go with the flow than trying to swim upstream. Not that I have always done that.Thank you Katie for this timely reminder. Some of my choicest experiences have been on Maui, simply because of the sweet mana that is there.Maui is known as the heart chakra of the Islands, and that is where all creative energy starts- from one's pu'uwai.Your creative expressions from Kilauea when you were on Kaua'i were inspirational also.I think maybe you are an Islan' girl at heart!:-)

Yes I would say that over 90% of the effort that people make is wasted because of where they are at. So if people put more effort into relaxing, yoga and meditation, things would become 90% easier. Deepak Chopra has his book 7 Spiritual Laws of Success that explains that if you are doing things in harmony with the laws of the universe things are ridiculously easy.

I have read a lot of books on success and money and they were all nonsense. This was the only book that made sense. Like you have heard about the secret where what you focus on, you get. This book explains that it is only if you follow the rules. The 6th law is detachment. If you are attached to what you are working on, it will not work. Law 1 is potential. Law 2 is giving. Law 3 is cause and effect (as you sow, so shall you reap). 4. The Law of Least Effort. Law 5 is about intention and desire. Law 7 is about your purpose in life. He says that there is at least 1 thing that you are better at than anyone else.

You're right! In martial arts, flow is decribed through elements. Water is free flowing, and unstuck. Fire is forceful, impatient, ambitious, and one-track minded. What you described about letting go, that is when all elements work together in harmony. Water wants to flow where ever it goes, and it never gets stuck. Fire already has a mission because of its ambition, it is impatient, and it constantly gets stuck due to it's one track mind. Because Fire loves speed, and hates getting stuck, allowing yourself to flow like water allows the Fire to get what it wants. This is the harmony you described:-)
