If a picture is worth a thousand words… Why not always make sure you leave your beautiful face on every blog comment you make?
Leaving comments on other people’s blogs is a great way to get more industry wide exposure and to become more ‘recognizable’ in the community. You can also drive quite a bit of traffic back to your site if you leave intelligent and thoughtful comments on highly trafficked blogs…
But if you don’t include your picture next to your comment, you probably won’t be recognized very much at all. If you want to make the MOST out of your blog comments and become more well-known in the blog communities, you’ve gotta include your picture. It’ll help people identify you more easily and recognize you throughout the different blog sites you visit.
It’s very simple and easy to do… Just click ‘Play’ on the video below and I’ll walk you through the process:
So, right now… Head over to http://www.gravatar.com and sign up for a free account. Once you do, leave me a comment down below and let me know what a difference it made! I’d love to see as many bright shining faces in the comment box as possible!
If you already have a gravatar, I’d still love to hear from you! Do you want to see more training tutorials like this? What kinds of things would you like to learn more about?
And please make sure you share this with your friends on Twitter, Facebook, and other social communities! Use the Twitter icon down below to ‘tweet’ this training out to your followers! They’ll definitely appreciate it! Thanks a bunch…

Wow Katie,
This could not have come at a better time. I have been working on my blog and
Internet content for a while now.In my training they were talking about commenting on blogs for more exposure. I tried creating a gravatar on mybloglog but it wouldn’t post my picture. So I am going to give this method a shot. Hopefully on my next comment you will see my gravatar. Cross your fingers for me.
hey Katie ,
i just did it !!
thanks a million
Manal
Here’s a great tribute to Ms. Freiling: I can honestly say she’s taught me about 75% of what I know about social networking. Thank you, Katie.
Thanks Katie! Just made mine!
Hey Katie, nice post! But i wanna know if there is a wp plugin can randomize the default gravatar so its much pretty hmm?
Hi Katie. Thanks for this post. It has always bothered me that my comments were only accompanied by a shadow. You know it makes one feel unreal. With the photo I hope I will connect with other bloggers in a more human way.
Hi Kathie, Thanks for the information. I already created my gravatar.
Thanks! I appreciate the video.
Great content Katie, can’t wait to use it. Still having trouble getting into my gravatar account. Keep you posted!
Testing he Gravatar system, thank you!!
Testing mine too – thanks for the post!
Hi Katie,
Many thanks for that information on adding a picture (Gravatar) to blog comments.
I am now putting it to the test – here goes !
Thank you Katie for posting this information! I hope that my Gravatar shows up on this post. I love your articles and appreciate the information you provide. I did notice however that the comment posts are not in date order on this page? Thank you again.
Simple Effective and to the point. Keep up the good work thank you for liberating others
Thanks for this great tutorial. I got my own gravatar. If I did it right maybe you will see my smiling face
Thanks again.
Nice work Katie. I’d like to know more about you
Hi Katie, thanks for the gravatar post, hopefully you’ll be seeing me relaxing in the sunset beside this comment.
Cheers
Caz
Well really gravatar is of use!!
Hmm is anyone else having problems with the images on
this blog loading? I’m trying to figure out if its a problem on my end or if it’s the blog.
Any feed-back would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Katie: For some reason it doesn’t look like my comments are getting posted properly. Well I’ll give it a try. This training is amazing, I believe this is an incredible resource, videos and pictures are the closest we have to be in person on the internet, and this is an excellent option. Thanks for the tip, Carina
Hmm? For some odd reason, your comment popped up after mine even though it states you commented in September of 2009! That might be something to look into
