Taking a few moments to appreciate what’s already here and now can quickly get you out of any ‘funk’ and help invite more happiness, wealth, and success into your life. It’s SO important to take a few moments every day, week, or month and write down what you’re grateful for in the present moment.
Sometimes, it can be easy for the mind to dwell on what’s going wrong, the money that’s not there, the stress, or the worry. But when we do, we are closing ourselves off from the unlimited abundance, peace, and joy that is readily available and waiting for us… It’s just waiting for an opening. And doing these gratitude exercises will help you OPEN to receive more and help you feel more appreciation and gratitude for everything that’s already present in your life.
It’s a very transformational practice… And I’m inviting you today to do it with me! Take a few moments and watch the short video down below first…
Ok, so here’s my Gratitude List… I’m SO grateful for:
1. Being an entrepreneur and having the opportunity to be creative with my work.
2. The unlimited opportunities for personal growth in my business and life.
3. The current projects I’m working on and how they have the potential to impact the lives of so many people.
4. My amazing online community that I appreciate so much.
5. My family and the supportive friends I have in my life.
6. My beautiful home.
7. My relationships with other like-minded entrepreneurs who inspire and empower me.
8. My mentors who help to guide me and give me great advice.
9. My healthy body that supports me.
10. The opportunity to eat well everyday.
11. My intelligence.
12. Being able to live in San Diego and appreciate it’s beauty and amazing weather.
13. The money and abundance that continues to flow into my life.
14. The opportunities to give back, donate, and help others who are less fortunate.
15. The Internet, social media, and technology that allows me to make an income from home.
16. Synchronicities, Divine guidance, and my intuition.
17. My self-awareness, emotional maturity, and strength.
18. My connection to Spirit.
19. All of the love and support that is present in my life right now.
20. Following my true life’s calling and purpose.
Ahhhh, yes! Life is beautiful and I’m so grateful for every facet of it! So how about you? What are you grateful for in this very moment? I would love to hear from you, so please share a few things you’re grateful for in the comment box down below. And make sure to re-tweet or FB this post so we can keep the gratitude train going!
I APPRECIATE YOU! Thank you for sharing your energy with me here today!
In Appreciation,

I’m thankful for all the wonderful people in my life, including you Katie, and many others, number one being my wife with whom I walk every step of The Way.
But MOST of all… most of all because from this I have gained the most: Adversity.
I have never achieved anything from desire, but always from striving to overcome challenges and adversities.
Thanks to the Universe… the Great Mystery Unknown… for giving me exactly the adversities I required for my growth at any given time…
and for the ability to respond positively to these adversities.

Great stuff Katie!
I really like #20… “Following my true life’s calling and purpose.” The fact that you “Know” what that is for yourself is awesome since most people will never get to that understanding in their life!
Thanks and keep the great articles coming!

One of my favorite quotes about gratitude is: “If the only prayer you said in your whole life was “Thank you,” that would suffice.” (Meister Eckhart). Just feel how your heart expands when you say “thank you, thank you, thank you!” It truly is a heart expander and a life-enhancer— and like you said, Katie, there are actually studies that confirm that gratitude creates a specific energy that affects our bodies in a positive way! In the movie What the Bleep Do We Know, Dr. Emoto used high-speed photographs to show that crystals in frozen water had different forms, depending on the kind of energy that was directed toward the water…. positive (love/thanks) energy caused a beautiful crystalline structure to form, and negative (hate) energy caused the form to become completey random, almost ‘ugly’! Combine that with the fact that our bodies are 70-80% water… and I think I’ll take the pattern of love and thanks
Here’s my ‘short’ list:
1) I am grateful for the knowledge of what being grateful does for our bodies and our souls;
2) I am grateful for my two beautiful children
3) I am grateful for my incredible husband and best friend
4) I am grateful to be able to experience this life
I agree that it’s very beneficial to make a longer list, but honestly this short-one brings a smile to my face everytime.
Thanks for a reminder about how much gratitude impacts our lives, Katie!

Hey Katie,
I bought a gorgeous journal about a month ago with gold foil on the front spelling out the word “Begin.” I thought it was so apropos. I didn’t know what I was beginning, but it reminded me that each and every day is a new beginning, every breath we take. I will start keeping my gratitude list in that book.
Off the top of my head, I’m so grateful for the 17 pounds of fluffy, furry love that comes scurrying over to sit on my lap and purrrr at me while I watch videos on the internet!

If you think about it, we live better than kings did a thousand years ago. On a hot day you can sit in an air conditioned room and stay cool. Then you can watch a movie or show on hi definition TV while surfing the internet. Then when we want to eat we can just call up a pizza place and have many different things delivered like an eggplant parmesian sandwich.

Hey Katie,
This is amazing! I honestly cannot tell
you the difference feeling gratitude has
made in my own life and it has truly
made me realize how lucky we are as human
beings to be blessed with the abilities
that we have.
I think the biggest thing that people have
to remember is to make sure that they
feel grateful for what they already have
instead of focusing on what they don`t
have. The feeling of gratitude is
extremely powerful and ultimately attracts
more into your life.
Thanks for sharing this and have a great day!

But when we do, we are closing ourselves off from the unlimited abundance, peace, and joy that is readily available and waiting for us.” I couldn’t agree more!
