Yes, it’s true… The people you surround yourself with can play a major role in your ability to create success. Do you choose to circle yourself with people who are successful, inspiring, motivating, and really making things happen? If not, it’s definitely time to start…
Making the investment with your time, money, and energy to attend networking/marketing events can prove to have the largest ROI (return on investment) in the long term… Surrounding yourself with people who are movers and shakers, your peers, and those who are MORE successful than you will uplift you and take you to higher levels in your personal growth, mindset, and success. And of course, not to mention the cutting-edge marketing knowledge that you’ll be soaking up.
To say that the relationships you can cultivate at these events can make you millions over the course of your career is actually an understatement. One conversation with the ‘right’ person can spark an idea or a strategy that takes your business from $5,000 a month to $50,000 practically overnight… One joint venture, or partnership, can put an extra 10,000 people on your email list… A relationship you build today could turn out to be a lifelong friendship or business partnership for the next 10 years… The money is actually just a side effect. The real value is in the connection and the brilliance that can be shared among like minds. Being around other successful people helps you to become more successful, simply through inspiration and the sharing of ideas.
The point is… Attending networking events are truly priceless. And they are NECESSARY if you’re really serious about creating success in this industry.
I just returned from Sedona (Arizona), Maui, and Washington D.C. for 3 separate events and I have to say… The connections and relationships that were established and the knowledge absorbed will be worth 1000x more than any amount of money I paid to get there… And I’m making friendships that will last a lifetime.

It’s all about relationships… Although it’s true you can make a ton of money by investing in attending events, the value is worth so much more than money. It’s all about building your own tribe, your own inner circle of friendships. And the beauty of connecting with people who are aligned with your purpose and your mission is truly amazing.
I was truly blown away to meet so many amazing and beautiful people with similar visions. And I’m so grateful for the opportunity to build like-minded friendships that I know will last a long, long time. Attending events will help you grow, enliven you, motivate you, and inspire you in so many ways.
Haha… You know it’s funny that at the end of the video I say I’m taking a month off from events… When I actually forgot about 2 events coming up that I will be attending out here in California. I guess there are more people I’m meant to connect with and network in the next couple weeks!

I believe that live seminars and live events in general are extremely powerful. You can connect and mastermind with people that have a better understanding than you in their area, which allows you to see how is possible to achieve an even higher level.
In summary, not only do you mastermind with top people in their area, and other like minded people, but also you learn a lot (what ever the seminar is about) but most importantly you open your mind of what is “really possible”, which helps you to grow.

Hi Katie,
Before I got into the Internet Marketing industry I was in the Network Marketing industry for about 2-3 years. And I will never forget an the first event I went to and how I felt when I left.
I was so inspired I felt like I could do anything. No one could tell me no. No one could tell me that it’s not possible. It’s that kind of inspiration that I got from attending that event that was the catalyst for what I’m doing now on the internet marketing side.

With how important that computers have become, networking has become less important. Joel Comm had some websites and put some Google ads on them. He was making some money from those ads. He went to a seminar and learned more about this and doubled his income. Then he started experimenting with the ads and got to the point where he was making $26,000 monthly.
So actually computers have made it so that people with high intelligence have an easier time than ever with making money. I think that your intelligence has made you better at doing this than any of the men that will be in Las Vegas. You are the only woman that will be there.
Also I remember you had a great video on Eckhart Tolle. You said that you were honored to meet these people who had made a lot of money. If you met Eckhart Tolle would you feel honored to meet him simce he was on Oprah and his book made him famous and a lot of money? Or would you feel honored to meet him from what he had when was sitting on a park bench all the time with no fame and fortune. He had happiness back then and the saying is “Money can’t buy you happiness.”

Also all these girls do not love Justin Beiber because he is rich. He started making music videos not to make any money (they are free) but he loved to entertain people. All these girls adore him. You feel honored to be with these rich people in Las Vegas but you do not want to marry them. All these girls want to marry Justin Beiber (he is only 16!) and have his baby!
Gary Heidnick was a famous guy in Philadelphia. He made millions of dollars in the stock market. Would you feel honored to meet him? He had women chained in his basement. He raped and tortured them everyday. He killed and cooked a woman and fed her to the other women without their knowlege. Do a search if you do not believe me. So he made millions easily. Should we hope to be like him?
I do not feel that you are here to be another Donald Trump. I watch Apprentice and Celebrity Apprentice. I feel that you are here to be like Eckhart Tolle, not Donald Trump. But it is your choice. Does Eckhart Tolle place any value on being rich and successful?

Give first…but sooo many people give with the expectation of receiving. I think it’s truly powerful to give without expecting anything in return. That mindset will shift the energy of the relationship.

I have recently noticed many of the leaders that I work with mentioning the power of attending multiple events each year. It also does alot to provide you with social proof to anyone who may be considering working with you because you have the opportunity to sit and actually take pictures and if you’re smart even do interview with the Top Leaders in your niche or industry.

For me all the events from Success Resources and Peak Potentials withT. Harv Eker, Marjean Holden…have clearly been the game changers! T. Harv Eker is the best-seller author of ‘The Secrets of The Millionaire Mind’. Definitely a great book but the real life changing experience really occurred during the live event Millionaire Mind Intensive! That is because of the level of energy that he can create that is not possible to create when reading a book alone. The exercises that we are all asked to do ignite such a transformation it is more something you have to experience for yourself than something that can be described. These course even have an addictive effect so much you feel energized and transformed as a result of attending! I am now on my way to financial freedom and more…!

when i visit the first event of my networkmarketing company it basically was so empowering and breathtaking.
The perspectives that was given to me about goals and planing was so inspiring that i had to change my acting right away.

I have become a big fan of yours over the past few months and wanted to say thank you for what you bring to the industry.
I could not agree more with you about networking events.
I have been part of the direct selling industry for the past 25 years and if it was not for events, it would have been very difficult to maintain the belief in your own success.
As they say, if you want to stay warm, stand close to the fire.
I have always felt that the two most important events that I have attended were the first one and the last one.

Great message Katie! I definitely agree with you. Events are huge to your success. Someone who touched my heart exceptionally was Bryan Dodge. He was more of local Speaker in the Dallas area but is truly a beautiful and wonderful person! I was able to chat with him one on one and that was a great moment for me as I LOVE the message he gives when he speaks!
He really focuses on how we should always do anything in our lives from our heart! Great guy and was very honored to have met and seen him!
With that said I am super stoked for the next event like the “No Excuses Summit”… I was so sad when I didn’t make this one recently but definitely will be at the next one!
