Katie, I’m so glad you put this post up. I saw Avitar with a girlfriend. We missed the first showing so we had to wait for 2 1/2 hours for the next one and decided to have dinner first…. and wine! OK, big mistake at 9:00 p.m. at night when you’re planning on sitting through a three hour movie !!!

The biggest problem was that for some strange reason the 3D glasses were really drying my eyes out, (Or it could have been the fact that the movie ended at almost 1:00 a.m.).

So, needless to say, I got some of the meaning, but not nearly enough, considering yours is the second review I’ve heard of how great the movie was and how deep the meanings are.

Now I for sure can’t wait to see it again, and your insight into the meaning is great.

I have my 3D glasses ready for time two and perhaps this time I will make a matinee in the afternoon!!

Thanks for always having such great advice and wisdom.

Hi Katie,

I love that you had celebratory gathering for the unity of humanity! This movie was amazing, and a turning point and reflection of the awakening happening on this planet – going mainstream. This movie will be a classic for all time. I was profoundly effected by this movie, deeply moved, inspired, really sad (lots of tears too), and also very uplifting and hopeful. Its a question I also ask my clients, that if you can see your client’s higher self, through your higher self, relating on a soul-level, what could be possible in that interaction with them? The answer is always profound, a true ‘I see you’.

I received your email right after getting off the phone with a friend that said she was going to see it on Sunday. Now I’m going to have to forward her your video and go with her.! A few people in my group told me about it, but I didn’t have the real wanting to see it until hearing your perspective. I always get very different “aha” message from the few movies I watch and it’s easy to see we’re on the same page.

What you were saying at the end of the video reminded me of “ho’ oponopono”, the Hawaiian clearing method. For those who’ve never heard of it, you should youtube it!

Thanks for all you do Katie! I see you!

Katie,

What an incredible testament to your vision and ability to see the bigger picture. I’ve always admired that about you. I must be one of the last people who have not seen the movie yet. But I will make a point to get there this weekend and take my kids. I have heard to much about it that I thought I pretty much knew it all. However your review has really shed some new light. Thank you.

Hey Katie, I did see the movie and it is fantastic. My son had to see it for a second time and I have to go back to see it again. I will be in line when it comes out in blu-ray as well. It was so great to see the connection they had with their world, it almost hurt to see the disregard some of the military had to that connection. I am not there yet, but I see the how heartfelt it can be to really see each other.

Great understanding Katie!

INFINITY is a BIG subject. It is infinitely infinite + or – 1. Infinite number of infinite Universes with no beginning and no end! But all connected. I see YOU NOW! As I See MYSELF!

What an awakening!! James Cameron is an absolute genius… I used to think that we were all kinda connected but now I See the absolute connection, unconditional and all powerful. Wow.

Hello Katie,

Yes, I’ve seen the movie too!!!
During the movie, I was totally into the World of pandora.
As a 3D artist it was a feast for my eyes, Oh yeah!
And what really touched me was the onderstanding of the Navi people about their connection with nature and eachother…
It made a deep impact on me…
If you realy do understand how we people are connected..
Then you will understand this movie….

Hello Katie, I did see the movie. I found it interesting after talking to different people who have seen it. Some really understood the message. and others couldn’t see it at all. I personally loved the movie and I felt an awareness like I’ve never felt. As Echart Tolle states, this sense of awareness only lasts moments, unless you are accustomed to it.
It is truly one of the deeply profound movies of our time.

thank you for your post.

I haven’t seen Avatar yet, although I am hoping to asap. I live in Belize, and unfortunately some of the finer things in life are not available here or it takes quite some time before they become available. Regardless, I want to share something beautiful with you. There is an expression that I have long loved, an ancient Mayan expression of greeting and salutation which is: “in lak’ech.” It translates “I am another yourself.” In other words, we are one and the same.
Imagine greeting one another on a daily basis and immediately expressing the fundamental truth of our unity. I do believe, like the Navi (sp?) you speak of in the film, that the Maya “got it.” It’s just taken the rest of us (meaning the mainstream population) a long time to arrive at the same understanding!
This “movement” you speak of is really a revolution in consciousness. It began in earnest, at the global level, with the paradigm shifts that started to occur in the late sixties and is now gaining greater and greater momentum and affecting a increasingly broader base of the world population. Humanity now has the very real opportunity to completely turn things around in this world and the wonderful thing is, we are doing it, we have created that opportunity and we are taking it! Let us continue to spread the word and truly practice unconditional love at all levels of our being and in every area of our lives. We will transform the world, one by one. :)
In Lak’ech,
Christine

Hello Katie,

Totally agree…the movie was incredible. There was an underlying theme of connectivity.

But the statement “I see you” was between a male and female who would mate for life. The two times it was said between them were the most moving scenes of the movie for me. It was as if they were saying, “I’m part of you…we are connected at the deepest level. As you said, “I see into you and I know your inner being.”

I think that desire for love and connection is at the core of our being. Wouldn’t it be beautiful to equally connect with a soul mate and exchange the recognition or realization of “I see you”?

Reply

Katie Freiling February 11, 2010 at 10:54 am

Yes absolutely! But ‘I See you’ was a phrase shared not only between lovers, but everyone. Just like you said, ‘I’m a part of you and we are connected at the deepest level’ was a sacredness shared with all of life. :)

“Avatar Celebration” Oh man Katie I would have LOVED to have been there. HOw awesome!!! ;) YOur so cool!
The more we experience even total strangers as our family we will definitely begin to move to a deeper level and even more in planetary shift. And feeling Oneness for all things not just with human beings but with ALL NATURE- Sun, Moon, Wind, Trees, Animals, Clouds, Ocean etc… We mush always pay humble respect. We are TRULY ONE. And our Separation is only a game we play.

I thoroughly enjoyed the move “Avatar” and this movie going ‘mainstream’ was a definite PLUS. I am so glad that many people were touched by this film. But now we must carry those same feelings & emotions into our everyday daily habits and actions. And Like you already mentioned Katie it starts within our own selves first. You have to find the peace, joy, love, and acceptance within you. If you recognize it within yourself then you will be able to share it with everyone around you.
Be truthful, be compassionate, be patient, and be forgiving

Love this POST! I hope you do another ‘Avatar celebration’ and I’ll be there with ya ;)

“I see you” So see oneself as hollow is a kinda depth to the whole life. Like when looking in a mirror, you know its not the real you.

Lets just make a short example of why that is out of personal experience:
This process is kind of slow and we have to work with it to be able to see from a different perspective as whats it really is about, the interaction between ones actions and another’s actions and how they are being handled is one thing but when it comes to describing that one is apart of the world and to see it talk to you is quite amazing, just is.
The question is; Is there a possibility that Na´vi is the dream people in human mind?
Dragon means “to see clearly” btw, where is the dragon and how can you bound with it?

Dear Katie,

I was blessed to see Avatar last week & was also deeply impacted at a cellular & spiritual level.

To me the story was a synergy of all that I believe to be true in James Redfield’s books ~ The Celestine Prophecy, The Tenth Insight & The Secret of Shambhala, with similarity to The Lion King, all told in it’s own unique, special way.

James Cameron ~ wouldn’t you love to hang out with him for a day?

Waking up, being aware & really “seeing” the world is such an amazingly fulfilling experience that I hope becomes the next epidemic!

You are a blessing to us all Katie, I SEE you…Yes I really do!

Thank-you from deep within my heart for sharing your thoughts.

I love how it takes a movie that costs millions of dollars with some wicked CGI and played up on a big screen to bring forth so many lessons and messages that have existed and given for hundreds if not thousands of years. The term “I see you” at that level is often known by those that have delved into spirituality is often known as “Nameste” there are many other words withing so many different Languages …. all other languages in fact except for English. Funny that …. The connection to the earth is one which the Native Americans have lived by for almost all of their lives, and also through a lot of Asian, Hindu, African, and even Russian. In fact almost every single culture that is ancient or should I say older than Modern or a better description would be “Blinded” civilizations. I am so happy that so many people are actually getting these messages now, and I am looking forward to the consciousness shift that ‘Avatar’ is going to bring to the world. I’ll send a well done to Cameron for bringing through these messages and also for giving us a glimpse of actions that occurred in the past and what may be happening in the future. Katie “I See You” and remember that you know all of the self discovery that you realize and re-awaken continue doing as you are and let the wings of angels caress every motion that you create within this life

It took 1 & 1/2 hours & Serious Caffeine to get my Earth leggs after being so into Avatar land.
I see this connected global popilation as the assured expectation of something Very REAL though not yet beheld but the Guaranteed future of the human race.
In fact, I am a member of a global organization, members from every race on Earth, endeavoring as well as imperfect people can to apply a priniple of ‘unity in love’ which is the perfect bond of union.
It’s KIND, it bears-Believes-hopes & endures all.

Unlike the general attitude we see displayed in society with regards to man relating to his fellow man love Dose Not behave indecently, is Not jealous, dose not brag, dose not get Puffed Up, dose not look for it’s own interestes, dose not keep account of the injury, or become provoked.

We KNOW whats required, it’s the application that seems to evade us.

Katie, 28 years ago, I had a profound, Nature based, awakening experience that was deeply spiritual, and brought with it a permanent change in my consciousness.
In the years following, I tried to get my science students to understand that the Earth is a living thing and that we are all little pieces of it, literally connected with all parts of it, and of course, with each other–just as much as your left pinkie fingernail or a hair on your head is a part of you. I was really just planting seeds.

In three hours, the movie says it all, better than I or anyone could ever explain in words. I was so thrilled and impressed with the beautiful way in which James Cameron has been able to bring his vision to us. I didn’t really care about all the military stuff and the fighting (though that was a good message as well), but simply watching this vision of a beautiful world, which illustrates better than has ever been shown before, that becoming “One with Nature” (or the Universe) is not just words or some old cliche. It has deep meaning and reality for those who feel it and live it. And as Val mentioned above, the Native Americans certainly understood. And Cameron has hinted that we may get some kind of “Planet Earth” type of thing from it to watch–wouldn’t that be amazing?!

I’m so happy to hear that you and others here feel this too, and I only wish I could have been there for your celebration–how wonderful!!

I’m taking more friends to see it this weekend. Lets keep spreading the message. Hopefully the movie will continue to reach a huge audience and more people will begin to “wake up”.

Thanks, Katie for spreading your Love to everyone the way you always do–we love you too!!

LOL, Katie, you dressed up as a Naavi? LOL! You’re such a geek, I love you!:) I saw it twice as well, could have gone a third time too. We ARE all connected, but even more than that, we are all ONE. We are spirit expressing itself as individuals. One spirit, many bodies. I want to share somtthing with you if you don’t already know about it. It’s a technique called Ho’oponopono.

Joe Vitale(the Secret) wrote a book called “Zero Limits” where he followed a doctor who lived in Hawaii who healed an entire clinic for the criminally insane by using this techinique..I am going to blog about it, but haven’t yet.

Anyway, he said if someone else has an problem(or any issue that comes in to his awareness) he takes full responsibilty for and cleans up his spirit with God, and in doing so, the rest of the people get clean as a result and heal automatically. Now the only reason they get healed is because: we are all one.

Take a look at that book, it changed my life and I use the technique daily, and I’ve never felt so close to God, and the results are indescribable. Let me know what you think.

Hey, Katie,

That was a fantastic video creation!
I haven’t seen “Avatar”….yet, but I can feel and see how vital it is to have a good connection, a good chemistry with the people around you. In the case of two people madly in love with each other, it is the effective way to cultivate a meaningful relationship. If we can see through ourselves and our neighbors we would not have to worry about war, destruction of planet earth, and so forth. Effective connectivity promotes peace, love, and joy. Take care.

Amazon Chuck February 12, 2010 at 6:54 am

First James Cameron made the movie Titanic. It required a massive budget and millions of people have claimed that to be the best movie ever. So he wanted to outdo that since that is the kind of person he is. He is also a perfectionist. So how do you outdo the best movie ever? Well by making another movie that many will say is the best movie ever or at least the best movie in the last 7 years and making a movie that actually changes the planet and helps to save it.

He has succeeded. So now he is not only the best movie maker ever but he has also changed the face of history. The first thing is that everyone needs to go and see it. Also besides the message that you were talking about look at the movie Titanic. It was based on a true story but the great story in it was fiction. He did that again. It is a science fiction story but based on real life. There are many tribes in the rainforest that live like that. They have a magical connection to the earth.

They have treasures that modern people do not. They are not at war with nature. I am a distributor of a company that sells herbs from the Amazon rainforest. They are picked by a dozen tribes there. Now this is true not fiction. Before they pick an herb, they sing to the plant. This is very important to them. They believe that when a plant is picked or hurt, it put its energy back into the dirt. But when they sing to the plant first, they ask it not to do that so the energy can stay in the plant and become part of the energy of humans. Again this is realtity even though this message is also in the movie.

So you have the whole message in the movie to save the rainforest. Now Charles, Prince of Wales says that by saving the rainforest it does more for our global warming problem than if we got rid of all the cars, trucks and other things that consume fossil fuels. He has a 90 second commercial saying this along with Robin Williams, Harrison Ford and other celebrites. http://c-frog.notlong.com

So James Cameron is helping this in his way. Also Charles, Prince of Wales has a commercial about saving the rainforest with corporate leaders of Google, amazon.com, Nike, Yahoo and others like Sir Richard Branson. http://g-frog.notlong.com So among everything that you said, the movie is helping to save the planet just like how the people in the movie were saved. It is fiction meets reality. So it was everything that you said and more.

Actually the guy who started this company that works with and helps save the Amazon rainforest had his life saved by tribes people using their herbs on him. Then he (Amazon John) met Nicole Maxwell who wrote the book Witchdoctors Apprentice. She tells about what she learned from the tribes there and convinced John to start this company that works with the tribes there. Then a year ago, Amazon John married Olivia Newton-John.

Also as far as saving the planet, Daniel Quinn wrote the book Ishmael. It won the $500,000 Turner Tomorrow Fellowship award for the best book to save the planet. Now some schools and colleges require all students to read it. It is all about how people used to live before there was money and about the takers and the leavers. In the movie you can see how the leavers only take what they need but the Takers want it all even it if destroys everything.

I also absolutely loved Avatar and quickly understood the message of how we are connected to nature, but the “I see you” part went over my head. Thank you for bringing this to my attention as I now see the movie with a new light. I will seek more diligently to see, accept and love people for who they really are, despite the lies they have come to believe such as: greed, dishonesty, hate, envy etc. Keep up the good work at spreading the light you have been given; you are truly an angel of light in this world. May God continue to prosper and bless you always. I love you.

Now I am picturing you & your friends painted blue! Avatar was a great movie and the message is profound and true, there is only one source, one energy of which are made of and therefore connected to. A special message but not a new message; a message older than time that is now being brought mainstream in a unique way! I See you

Great post Katie Love your openness and sincerity

Peace & prosperity,
Dallas M Cyr

Hey Katie,

I have not seen Avatar yet, but you definitely have made me very eager. I have heard nothing but solid reviews on this movie. I think James Cameron was out to set new precedents and just literally blow away the world. It’s already grossed over 2 BILLION and that number is still rising. Absolutely remarkable! Have you seen it in 3D? I can imagine how phenomenal that must be. Thanks for sharing girl.

and I SEE you Katie!

Avatar ranks as one of my all-time favorite movies! Have seen it 3 times and loved it more each time. The heart and soul and beauty, the breathless and joyful experience of flight, the transformative power of love, the wisdom of deep connection with Nature – I just can’t say enough wonderful things about the message or the intoxicatingly beautiful vision in Avatar.

Confession: my only disappointment is that I can’t actually go to Pandora and be Ney’teri.

I saw the movie Titanic 6 times in the theater but have only seen Avatar once. After what you said, I will go and see Avatar again in the theater. James Cameron’s movie, Titanic, was nominated for 7 Oscars and won best picture. Avatar has 7 Oscar nominations including best picture. I bet that it will win best picture.
