It’s incredibly important that we remember that each of us has the same capacity to experience empathy that that sage did. Its not an isolated trait. All of us can reach deep within and connect with another person from a state of love. Once you make it a habit, it allows you to look deeper into situations, to see past the physical and see what is REALLY going on. A valuable addition to how you handle life.

What a powerful story! It gave me “truth bumps” (You know, like goosebumps but only when something resonates so deeply that you get a physical response to it…) Sometimes its hard to remember not to turn our empathic gifts aside. We live in a world that is fast, sterile, disconnected and favors a defensive stance. To love from a state of vulnerability often challenges us. Thanks for reminding us why it’s so important!
